Co-founder of Liquidity Financial Group, the first firm in the country to specialize in purchasing non-listed real estate investment securities in the secondary market.

Invested in approximately $750 million worth of real estate in this manner through 34 privately offered funds on behalf of high net worth investors.

Brokered approximately $2 billion of secondaries

Evaluated well over $30 billion of real estate investments

Founded, with Standard and Poors, and sold what is now known as the S&P/GRA real estate indices, presently owned by Charles Schwab. S&P/GRA is a research firm following national real estate price and rent trends that uses such research in selecting securitized real estate investments

Provided consulting advice to opportunity funds, REITs, pension investors and, most recently, companies in debt related workouts, on tender offers, M&A, and asset buy/hold/sell decisions

Arnie Brown, CFO

Has 30 years of experience in real estate investment and portfolio management, restructuring and turnaround, in both public and private companies. Involved in valuing and managing portfolios of non-listed real estate securities since 1983

Current member of Carbon War Room’s Building Efficiency Operation’s Advisory Board

Advised Robertson Stephens, among others, on asset acquisitions, financings, management and financial restructuring of distressed investments

Served as Chief Financial Officer of The Peregrine Real Estate Trust, where he was instrumental in their exit from bankruptcy

Chief Financial Officer and a Director of California Real Estate Investment Trust, an NYSE company known as Capital Trust, which was recently acquired by Blackstone

CFO for and Managed all back office functions for Liquidity Financial Group and its third party transfer agent clients.
